Description and characteristics of CHL, CHLF(Т) pumps

Pumps of CHL, CHLF(T) series — horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps of normal suction equipped with standard electric motors. Suction and pressure branch pipes are at an angle of 90°. The pump consists of work steps (impeller, diffuser) installed in a cylindrical case and connected by tie bolts with the bottom and the head end.

Application.

CHL, CHLF(T) pumps — multifunctional products. They are used for pumping various fluids including water or process liquid. They are used for non-aggressive fluid supply, and may be used for pumping weak acid and alkali solutions, oil and alcohol solutions, and etc.

  • Water supply: Filtration and water transfer to water supply systems;
  • Pressure build-up in the main pipelines;
  • High-pressure washing plants;
  • Jockey pumps in sprinkler fire-fighting systems;
  • Cooling systems

Operation conditions.

  • Fluid temperature:
  • For normal temperature: -15°С.....+70°С;
  • For high temperature: -15°С.....+120°С;
  • Ambient temperature: Not more than +40°С;
  • Altitude elevation: Up to 1000 m
  • Fluid acidity: pH 5 – 9

 

Pumped fluids:

  • Pure, non-explosive, low-viscous fluid without abrasive contaminants and fibers.
  • Pure water, mineral water, edible vegetable oil and chemically moderately aggressive liquids.
  • If supplied fluid density or viscosity is higher than water density or viscosity, a drive motor of higher capacity should be used.
  • Fluid pumped should not be aggressive to stainless steel, which is determined by a number of factors, the main of which is chlorine content, pH-value, temperature, solvent type, oil products content.
